Collective questions using two control 4’s

So I have two control 4 u it’s and I was wanting to connect them into a collective. Can I use the power supply’s on each control 4 and a data only cable to create a collective? Or do I have to only use one power supply, a command bus cable and a terminator?? Thanks much

You could do either but one power supply should work without any issues. I had a X4, 2 X2's and a XS on a single power pack. Now I have a controller with a built in supply so no need for the power pack. Using 2 power supply's you would not have a way to connect a terminator. You would have to make sure and get at least one power pack with a terminator built into it.

That is correct. If you ever add a WaveEngine or XP8 to the collective you will have to remove the power brick, but they can be on the buss together without an issue.
