Command Bus Powered Probe Port Module(s)

I don't know how good it will work. If it was me I would just get the X3 and have the extra sense ports also.
Just saying I wouldn't buy from Amazon. It likely is a bit junky, so why pay the extra $100 over aliexpress?

Was thinking about this today. I wouldn't mind this as an option. BUT I would prefer a wifi based probe device. I want to have my QT tank on a wifi power strip and would like to at a minimum monitor temperature. Would be nice if I could get a device that has 1-2 sense ports and a PH probe port. I could live without the PH.

All that said I know it couldn't be a "brain" because they have to be connected by command bus. But it could be a standalone wifi device that sends the data to the collective. I would think? Not sure.

They have a module that has a pH port and 2 sense ports. It is call the X3.

I'm aware of what they have. But if that can't be on a collective without being wired via command bus cable it does me no good.

What I want is an X3 type device that can communicate in the collective but won't take over control if the rest of the collective fails. I know that isn't possible without the command bus cable. But it should be able to share things like PH and temp wirelessly.

Is there a reason you cannot use a command bus cable. The data only cables can be quite long if needed. I use a CAT 5 cable with adapter to command bus between my controllers at the tank to the garage over 35ft away from the tank. The CAT5 cable was already installed between the media center in the garage and an outlet in the room with the tank. I have 7 controllers at the tank and 7 controllers in the garage and they are all in the same collective.
