Just checking to make sure I'm correct. I have an XP8 Power strip, X10 Doser, Wave Engine LE. The X10 and the LE will need to have its own power supply plugged into its power port. I can then connect all three with a command bus cable. My questions is, can I use a command bus Power/Data cable, or do I need the command bus Data only?

With those unit you can use the regular command bus cables since the controllers have isolation circuits in the controller between the power port and command bus. The only power supply that has an issue is the one that connects to a command bus port. Those you do not want to use with another source of power on the command bus unless you use a data only command bus cable between it and the other sources of power on the command bus.

Don't forget command bus terminators. A minimum of one is required however with power givers in the collective such as LE, X10 and XP8 two terminators are recommend.
