Control 2 stuck on breathing red

Hello,

I got my control 2 and made the account. I had it added and everything seemed to be good. I was looking around the option and it just went to red and stopped working it took the WIFI password and everything.

I have removed the device rebooted the control 2 deleted local cache uninstalled the app.
rebooted router and modem

Control 2 stays red after hardware reboot

I try to add device again (50/50) if it even comes up to add. Then I get a Bluetooth connection time out with error code of 10.
I got some magnets to try but not sure if they are strong enough it doesn't turn purple.

I would not do a magnet reset. Does it look like this in the video? If so then it cannot connect to your wifi. There could be a number of reasons for this.

 
Yes it looks just like that. It was connected to my wifi when I first had unboxed it and set it up. Then it randomly lost connection and started doing the blinking red. I was on 2.4 ghz to my router. I didnt even get to update firmware or do anything with it. Exact error when I try to connect to Wi-Fi is Bluetooth connect timeout 00010.000

Where is the controller? Water will block both bluetooth and wifi signals. Have you tried it with the Control 2 near your router and see if it will connect?

I first had it next to the tank which is across the room about 12 feet away from router. Since I have been having trouble with it. Im next to the router about 3 feet away. The control 2 after I unplug it will cycle through the colors beep and stop on the red. The first setup it was the normal pink but now its stuck on red no matter what I do. I can get it to come up in the app. I try to reconnect and it after about 3 seconds it give the bluetooth timeout exception error I posted above.
 
If you can get it to come up in the app then it may be flashing red which means there is something out of safe range that has the alert set to red. Do you have any inputs setup already?

No I dont have anything setup. I have removed the device trying to troubleshoot. I didnt get far at all to even to inputs or any configurations from the app
 
Does you 2.4ghz channel have a different name than the 5ghz channel? What type of router is it?

They were named the same thing, But I have since changed them to make sure I wasnt on 5ghz. Still same issue. I do not have smart connect on or any crazy configurations. I was using wifi 6 and I even turned that off to see if it would connect still no joy. No mesh enabled stuff either.

Edit: Password security is WPA2 personal
