Control Four lost after firmware update to 178

My Hydros control 4 configuration is completely gone. Trying to setup again today. I can't believe they don't have a restore function. My pumps are off and I had to rush to find a power outlet. I was just going to feed the fish and everything disappeared. Not sure this controller is ready for prime time.

Every time you change something it save the configuration to a file on the cloud. Go to Device Properties and select Review Archived Versions. You should get a screen similar to that below. I think it may have to be after the firmware update though. I usually change something minor after a firmware update just to have a current save.

Looks like I might be able to restore. Thanks. It lost my connection to my power strip, so I am trying to fix that now.

OK, impressed now. Lack of knowledge on my side. Not sure what caused the hiccup, but I was able to restore. I had to "replace" my power strip to get it to work, but all good now. It appears back up and running.

I love my aquariums, so can't thank you enough Danny for your rapid response. Love the community.

Glad to hear you got it going. Next time after an update just change something minor on a input or output. After it saves then change it back. That will give you a restore point with the updated firmware just incase there is some difference that won't allow using a restore point from the old firmware.
