I have 2 questions about how to set up delays. I know how to do them in my former Apex world because there are Delay commands. But...

1. I have a mode/schedule to shut off everything (return pump, skimmer, wave pumps) for SPS target feeding and water changes. Of course, the sump fills up. My question: when I return to Normal mode + schedule, I want to delay the skimmer coming back on so the sump can go down first. How to delay "skimmer on?"

2. I have a mechanical float switch in the sump to trigger adding water from my kalk reactor. But because there are little waves in the sump, I don't want it to trigger kalk flow for a minute or so because I don't want the kalk reactor to go on and off in rapid fire. How to delay the trigger from the float switch?

Apologies if this is covered elsewhere but I can't find it.

Set a minimum off time in your skimmer setup and set the depends on setting to your return pump. Set it to off if off. The minimum off timer will not start as long as the return pump is of with these settings. It will wait the minimum off time before it starts up.

For question number two use the minimum off time and also minimum on time. I would also have a maximum on time set and set run past max on time to off. it will then send an alert if it hits maximum on time and will stop until you intervene.

So in general, the on/off depends on switch takes precedence over any minimum/maximum run times? In other words, they don't kick in until the depends on triggers on first, right?

If the depends on settings have it forced off then the minimum off time starts once the depends on override is over.
