Dumb Question—Quad Cable 0-10v

I feel like a person thinking I can rebuild a carburetor because I know how to drive.

The quad cable for the 0-10v out. Are there 4 cables because you can have the same message out (like, feed mode) for four different devices? Or, can you connect to 4 devices, somehow send different volts to all four, but then have each react to a different voltage? Right now I only have one 0-10v device, but I am fascinated with learning what I am missing.

There are four channels- so you can control 4 unique 0-10v devices.

I am not sure exactly what you are asking, but yes you would be able to program different "volts" to each channel.
