Electrical interference question

Whenever my protein skimmer or fan to cool the sump kick on my PH probes get a burst of a higher reading and then immediately fall back over the course of a minute or 2. Guessing it’s some sort of interference when the XP8 powers these on. Is there a way to isolate anything so this doesn’t happen? I just started to dose kalk and can see how this can be a possible issue, as it trips the dosing pump off in the right circumstance.

I have that exact problem when my algae scrubber lights come on. I have not found a solution.

I don’t think there is a solution from what I’ve found online about PH probes and how they measure

I've pretty much given in to it and just live with it.

You can try a couple of things. First do your best to keep the pH probes wire physically away from any power cords. Second you could try picking up some snap on ferrite core beads on amazon, the ones that snap around cables. You could first try them on the pH cord near the controller, and then same on the power cords of issue device.

The issue is not HYDROS or the pH probe. The problem is the other equipment that is creating too much electrical noise when it should not. You could try different things to alleviate the symptoms, but if you want to take care of the issue, you need to remove the cause.
