I currently have three devices in my collective, and I’m in the middle of a major cleanout and update to my sump. Unfortunately, I’ve encountered a significant issue with the app. Upon opening it, I was forced to update to the latest version of the firmware. It has now been over four hours, and I’m stuck with a tank that’s only half full because I cannot turn my pumps on.

I am running a 1Gbps line on a WiFi 6 router, so bandwidth is not the problem. I was able to update two of my devices successfully, but the third refuses to update. I tried rolling back and using the website version (348), but it also won’t work, stating I must update to the latest version.

This has been extremely frustrating, as I’m worried about the potential risk to my tank and its livestock because of an inability to complete what should be a relatively simple firmware update. Blocking all controls until an update is completed seems like a decision that could leave users in a difficult position during critical moments like this.

I hope you can provide a solution to this issue as soon as possible.

I was finally able to get the web app to work. I still cant update the 3rd device no matter how I try. I have tried different SSIDs on my network, to no avail. At least I am able to fill my tank now. I will have to try some more later.

did you try rebooting thr 3 device using the app to do that. Then try downloading the firmware again for that controller. Always make sure that all controllers download the new firmware without errors before installing it.
