Float switch

I have added a float switch to my collective which includes a Launch and a Minnow. It is attached to a sensor port on the Minnow. My problem is that it reads wet all the time. I have checked that the float moves easily and it does not appear to have anything preventing it from functioning properly. I have deleted it and re added it to the system a couple of times. Both the Launch and Minnow are updated to the 374 Version. Any advice would be appreciated or did I just get a bad one from the store.

When you push it up manually does it still read wet?
