Gyre xf330 issues

My xf330 barely spins when hooked up to my wave engine, if I enable reverse function it runs normal speed when it thinks it is in reverse, somehow it seems to have forward and reverse mixed up, anyone else experienced this

Yes, I have inverse rotation set on in the pump config. Turn that on and everything works great.

I thought inverse rotation was for propeller style pumps

It's for any pumps. For whatever reason. The gyre xf330 seems to be backward. This is what I had to do to get mine working. With that setting on, everything works great. I have 3 sets on 3 wave engines. The gyre mode is the best in the business.

I have the same pump and had to reverse rotation also. It works great once inverse rotation is set!

Can someone explain the difference between turning-on the “Invert Rotation” setting and turing-on the ”Allow Reverse” setting when using Gyre Pumps? What happens to the Gyre pump motion when these are activated separately, i.e., “Invert Rotation” is only turned-on? and what happens when “Allow Reverse” is only turned-on? And finally what happens to Gyre Pumps when both “Invert Rotation” and “Allow Reverse” are both turned-on?

Invert rotation defines the direction that is assumed to be forward. Allow reverse will determine if you want the pump to flow in both directions or not. The xf330 requires Invert rotation to work correctly with the Wave Engine.
