Hi All,

What is the process to follow to reconnect a Hydors controller when you are not at home?

One of the main reasons I invested in the Hydros controllers was to be able to act on anything that is going wrong when I'm not at home. The fact that one can't get the controller to reconnect with WIFI defeats the biggest reason for me spending the money on a controller setup.

Any advice will be appreciated!

Thanks!

I have never had an issue with it reconnecting and I have 15 controllers in one of my collectives. I do have my own wifi router and do not use one supplied by my cable company. So if I have internet I can always check on the the controllers. I do also have a UPS for the router and cable modem along with battery backup on the larger Hydros collective. I do have another collective without battery backup with two controllers in it and have not had an issue with them reconnecting even after a power outage. You will get an alert from the cloud if any of the controllers loose communication with the cloud. I also have quite a few cameras so I can check them and if there is no connection with them it is not an issue with the Hydros and is probably a internet issue at the house. I do have one camera aimed at the tank so I can see if thing are on in the tank also.
