How to recalibrate probes.

Hiya everyone! Please forgive me if this has been answered.

I've had my PH, and ORP probe in my tank for 2 months and they were calibrated before use.

I've read they need to be broken in then recalibrated to become far more accurate, my question is do i clean them with cleaning solution or just use RO/DI and recalibrate?

I read if I use a probe cleaning solution it resets the process and they will need to be broken in again.

Please advise, thank you!

I just use regular water from the tap to clean off, blow excess water off and pat dry before each calibration solution and before returning it to where it was.
