I'm considering using the Hydros Minnow for AWC. It would have to move 2 gallons of water per day approx. 35 to 40 feet distance but only about 5 feet in height. At 25 ml.min it would be on for 12.6 min/hour for 24 hours. Danny, I know you where using it for AWC, do you think it could handle my demands?

Thanks...Peter

Seems like it would take a LONG time to do that. I made a DIY version with the same Kamoer pumps (or at least look exactly the same) as the new Duet.

I do about a gallon and it takes under 3 minutes to drain at 1000+ml per minute and the fill pump is 500-600 ml/min and takes almost 10 minutes to fill so the Minnow would take a very very long time IMO and a DIY version with a faster pump would be worth it and cheaper.

I was not changing that much with it. I have the drain on for 10 minutes right now and it runs 4 times a day. I did run it with a 14 minute drain for a while. I do have it set to run at 55ml a minute also. I use the AWC output type and it also controls the ATO pump. I use 2 of the Blenny pumps for the drain and fill pumps. They are the same as the Minnow pumps.

Thanks, I actually would prefer something that could give me a constant 24 hour drip, I know the Minnow is not built for that, maybe the Soul? The new Duet looks perfect, but up here in Canada it would be well over $1,000....ouch!
