Has anyone thought of using the Hydros Universe to power/control a small greenhouse cabinet? I know this has been done before using Arduino/Raspberry-Pi, but I am already in the Hydros universe and love the software interface. I know this is likely the more expensive method and I am utilizing the software for unintended purposes.

I am still in the planning/testing stages - Any thoughts or recommendations are appreciated! I know I will likely need 2 sets of 0-10 Inputs/Outputs based on everything I am wanting to monitor/control.

Smart Ikea Greenhouse using Hydros

Idea: Control environment in greenhouse cabinet and water plants when needed

Method – monitor environmental variables (air temp and humidity, humidifier water level, soil moisture sensors); control watering of plants and refilling of humidifier water when needed

Monitoring –

Control –

Thoughts, comments, ideas, and recommendations are appreciated. J

Update: I received the 0-10v soil moisture sensor today and have it hooked up to the hydros.
0-10v = 0% to 100% soil moisture level; currently reading at ~20% and cheap backup moisture sensor reading as ~4 (high moisture) - (which seems reasonable; soil is very wet to the touch).

Thinking of using an LED driver like this one:

Input: AC 100V-227V 0.5A
Output: DC 24V 2.5A 60W
and it accepts 0-10v to control PWM dimming.

On a light fixture like this:

I confirmed with the manufacturer that this light fixture will work with an inline PWM dimmer.
