Ice cap 3k run for 3 seconds and off

I just added the wave engine v2 to my collective…. my ice cap 3k is basically turning on for a second or 2, then shutting off. I thought it may have been the pump but once I hook up the regular controller it works at normal operation…. What could possibly be the cause of that?
