iV Overflowing / X10 dosing calibration

I believed I had my X10 dosing pumps primed and calibrated following the online instructions and watching Carlos' video. During the second/third test, the iV flask overflowed a bit. I narrowed it down to my 'fill' doser was over dispensing.

Using the calibrate function with my dosing rate set at 100ml/min, the doser dispenses 118ml. I entered that amount, selected continue, and then uploaded the changes. I then checked the change by selecting the pump again and then calibrate. Again it dispensed 118ml.

Summary of my calibration steps - From the main page selected the pump, selected calibrate, selected continue, waited for the pump to stop, entered the amount dosed, selected continue, and then selected upload changes. I've tried from the iV page as well.

This is resolved. The calibration function doesn't learn and it dispenses the same amount every time for the same adjustment.

Mine is doing the same thing can you tell me how you resolved this issue my IV was leaking I don’t know if the fill rate is to fast or what I did follow the video to the tee but water was underneath the beaker thanks

This is resolved. The calibration function doesn't learn and it dispenses the same amount every time for the same adjustment.

The calibration starts at the same place every time it is run so it will have the same or close to the same results each time. To check it after a calibration run a manual dispense at a given set amount and see if that is what you get. The calibration runs for 1 minute at a set flow rate setting and that setting is the same regardless of the setting.

Have you watched it run to see if you can catch it overflowing. I would go through the calibration for both the drain and fill pump. Once you calibrate it run a check by doing a manual dose and choose the flow rate per minute you calibrated to as the manual dose amount and see if that is what you get. The calibration will alway start at the same point regardless of the previous calibration.

On mine I did set my flow rate on my fill pump to 75 instead of 100. It takes a little longer to complete a test but I have had good luck there. I use a simple doser on a drive port for my drain pump so it has a fix flow rate but I still had to run the calibration and tell the Hydros the amount dosed during the calibration so I can know how much time it needs to run the pump when it runs.
