Jebao Gyre Support

I just inherited a Hydros and a WaveEngine from a tank I'm tearing down. I'm a long time Apex user, so not new to controllers.

I love the concept of the WaveEngine, and how it eliminates all the clutter of individual control boxes and power bricks. Problem is, my tank is fully run on 4 Jebao Gyres. Is the only think stopping me from using them the lack of a compatible plug, or is there more to it? I know how to solder, and I can make my own. I suppose if I must, I can go with the IceCaps, which aren't overly expensive, though I don't love their orange blades.

Also, while we're here, can someone explain HOW the wave engine is able to power 4 powerheads off one power supply? Are they using a bigger power brick than the standalone pumps would be using? Seems like otherwise you'd be overloading the power bricks.

There is more to it than just connecting the motor. The WE has to be setup for a particular pump as far as current and pulse width etc. CoralVue will only make them compatible if the Manufacturer is ok with them doing it. Also the WE is a 24v pump system so the pump would have to be a 24v pump. I think the most common are 24v and 48v pumps. The WE I have has a 24 volt 6.35 amp power pack. My guess is that is big enough for most pumps you would use.

They're 24v pumps, I know that much. I had hoped they were similar enough that I could just tell it it was a similar output gyre style pump, but I also suspected there might be more to it than that. After 2 years of being out, I'm guessing it's not likely to happen at this point.
