Need some help with a scenario.

I have a water level sensor (underwater) just above the return pump. If the sump runs dry, and triggers that sensor that it changed from wet to dry, I want to turn off the return pump and the heater.

I cannot figure out how to do this. I have tried both combiner and generic outputs. The sensor is listed but when I go to choose the device, only unused/available outlets are listed, non3 of the outlets with the pump or heater.

I also have 2 of the WiFi controlled power strips and those are set up with all my devices.

What am I doing wrong. Both of my controls are running 367 firmware.

Do you already have a output setup using the outlet the Return pump is connected to? You can only use an output port or outlet one time. You cannot have it in two different outputs. You can setup an output without an output device set that uses that water level sensor that you can set to active when dry. You can then use that output in the depends on settings on the return output and set the dependency mode to off if on. So if the output setup with the water level sensor is on then the return output will turn off. You may also want to set a minimum off time in the return to keep it from going off and on since the water level will probably rise once it turns off. At least that way it will wait a few minutes before turning back on.

Ok, I will give that a try. I’m still waiting on some sensors that were on back order. Thank you.
