Hello All,

Looking at my Kraken set up, I'm all out of 12v drive ports with barely any 24v force ports used since most of my 24v devices are connected via wave engine. I do have a few small 12V pumps and lights that I'd like to connect to the Kraken. any way to convert those 24V force ports to work with 12V DC devices?

Thanks!

They make 24v to 12v DC to DC converters but you would have to do some DIY to use them. Also you would have to make sure the output current is enough for your device and is also within the current linmit of a force port.

Thanks for these tips! Technically, Coralvue already produce a product that would split one force port into three drive ports via the control XD, just trying to get a sense of there is another more economicical option since the XD is a 240 dollar product.

The XD is a controller that happens to have 3 drive ports as outputs. It also comes with a power supply but you can power it using the Kraken instead but does not require the Kraken to work. By the time you get 3 24v to 12v DC to DC converters and the cables or connectors you would need to connect them each to a Kraken force port and all the time involved you might be getting close the the $240 price tag anyway. There are several controllers with drive ports that might be a better choice if you are going to need more of the other ports that those controllers have with the drive ports.
