Larkey WifFi Strip USB port

Have 6 of these and they connected flawlessly like you I was told they would. That is awesome btw!

I am having issues getting the USB ports (all 4 at once) to be controllable. Not really a big deal I only use one for some fans for my MH lights but the (4 USB Outlets) give me a red non responding no matter what I connect to it. I figured that these ports just were not compatible but some are imported as on and some as off (then stay that way).

So when I connect these they are all simply on or off and not controllable, any ideas?

That is correct. They are either ON or OFF.

yes but how do I now turn them on/off.

I didn't explain this very good. When they are set up it add the outlet and on different strips it is either on or off but I cannot change that in the app...my tile is red.

So that’s how I set it up but regardless it doesn’t seem to recognize the usb ports

What is the color of the wifi strip tile? Is the wifi strip responding?

It’s the one that says Photon Halides. All 4 outlets work perfectly, on all 4 strips paired but the USB’s don’t change.

The usb ports are output 5. You have to setup an output for them just like the other outlets.

Here is a output I have setup that uses the USB outputs on one of my strips. It turns them on a 5pm and off at 10pm.

Did you create a constant output to turn the USB ports ON? As Danny mentioned, create an output that turns outlet 5 to keep the USB ports ON.

It is very likely that the Larkey WiFi Strips do not use the same control channel for the USB outlets as the Hydros does. There are numerous control channels in the protocol. Channels 1-4 usually (but not always) correspond to the 4 main outlets. However The USB outlets are assigned different locations by different manufacturers. It is likely that Hydros will be unable to control these USB outlets on this third party plug strip.

Thanks Don, I'll stop trying to work around it...I am ob about the 57th version of something... On to more things this C4 can do!
