Yes, as long as you also get a command bus cable and a couple of terminators. Each collective requires 2 terminators. On smaller collectives you can get by with just 1 terminators but at the cost you might as well get two when you buy them since that is all you will need per collective.

and as far as per collective do you mean every controller that i add like a wave engine another x8 so and so forth?

You will need a command bus cable to go between the controllers that are part of a collective in a daisy chain fashion. Since each controller has 2 command bus ports this will leave 2 open ports at the end. That would be where you place the terminators. Here is a link to the standard command bus cable CoralVue HYDROS System Command Bus Cable (DATA+Power) . Here is a link to the terminators HYDROS Command Bus Terminator . They also have data only command bus cables but those are only needed if you need one over 14ft long or there is a non isolated power supply used along with a controller that has power such as the XP8 or Launch. That supply is one that connects directly to a command bus port on a controller. Those are normally only in the starter pack or with controllers like the Minnow. Those supplies are not needed if you have a controller that has a separate power port from the command bus or it's own AC plug in your collective.

evrything will be next to each other so which do i use command bus cable or bus terminator do they both do the same?

You need a command bus cable to from one of the command bus ports on one controller to a command bus port on the other controller. That will leave two command bus ports unused. One on each controller. You would add a terminator on each of the 2 open bus ports. If you get another controller you want to add later all you need to get is a command bus cable. Remove one of the terminators and run a command bus cable from where the terminator was removed and connect it to one of the command bus ports of the new controller and then add the terminator you removed to the open command bus port on the new controller. You need to do this when there is no power on any controllers. Also once hooked up you would need to add it to your account and setup the wifi credentials and check firmware on any controller you are adding to make sure it is current with your collective firmware. Then you can add it to the collective in the app.
