mesh?

I've been using the IceCap 4k Wifi Dual pump controller with my Mesh network. The mesh router (Netgear Omni) doesn't seem to allow separation of the two channels, but for months now it's worked with no problem. Now I've just bought a Hydros Control x4, and am wondering if it will also work? My wifi scanner shows the router broadcasting separate 2.4 and 5 GHz channels. Am I OK without buying an access point?

It might be fine, it might not. It kind of depends. You may experience dropping issues. I'm going to post up a link for you that cover the subject.
