Mixing Graphs and Tiles

Can someone give me the 'Dummies Guide' to mixing inputs on the app page?
It says you can do it but not how.

"TIP: Pages will treat the views of each section differently. You could hide an INPUT as a tile but still, show it as a graph! A great example is the Leak Detector. You may want to show the Leak Detector as text or tile but not necessarily as a graph. Pages allow you to keep each view separately!"

You cannot mix graphs and tiles for the same category. For example, you cannot have both in the inputs/outputs section. You could create multiple pages to give you what you need. Often, people make a "Graphs" page that includes the graphs and then want to see them regularly.
