So I am at a loss trying to find how to do this and perhaps you cannot but it seems incredibly intuitive to me that it would be an option. Can I trigger a mode on a schedule or some type of timer? The schedule seems like it is limited to a few basic scenarios. All I would like to do is to trigger feed mode at 2 different times during the day that jive with my auto feeder, (non-hydros). While I could probably set timers on the power-heads themselves that seems like the long way around. Any current solutions?

Thanks,
Matt

Create a generic output and set Has schedule and enable advanced mode. Set a timer schedule for ewhen you want the pumps off if they are on normal outputs. Then use depends on on the pump outputs to the new generic output. Set it to off if on. If the pumps are variable then setup schedules for the times you want them in feed mode. You will have to setup schedules for the times between them so there are no gaps in a 24 hour period.

Danny, Thanks for the feedback! I used your method and it worked well. First feeding cycle went off without a hitch. I have taken that method and now created 2 feeding schedule outputs to offset the 3 pumps coming back online. I'll see how that works at the next feeding cycle.

It is not as intuitive a solution as I expected with the Hydros but I now have a number of generic outputs indirectly controlling items so i just need to keep thinking in that manner.

Thanks again,
Matt

It has been suggested to have a way to trigger a feed mode from a output, but I am not sure where on the priority list it is. The generic output and the combiner can be used like OR or AND gates to control things also. The difference is the generic uses inputs as inputs and the combiner uses other output as input. On it the input can be inverted also along with using the AND or OR type gate logic.
