This may sound like a dumb question but for different tanks, is it better to have separate collectives? I’m in the process of setting up another tank and will be running an XS, XP8, and WELE…

Sure you can run a separate collective for a different tank. You'll need to make a master just like you did for your other collective and then add in the devices for the other tank into that collective.

It really depends on how many but you can have multiple tanks in a collective if you want. If you are sharing things like reservoirs then you might want to have one collective. I am sure there is a limit to how many things you can have but I have not reached it yet with 10 controllers in my collective.

Thanks… won’t be sharing anything between tanks and would like to keep them as isolated as possible.

Sounds like separate collectives might be best then.
