Submit a support ticket for this here Submit ticket
I can’t submit a ticket. It isn’t mobile friendly it won’t even let me scroll to select product. Man, I’m sorry I’m just on the forums loosing my mind right now. My day was rough enough without trying to figure this out for 4 straight hours on my knees

Here is another way to get in contact with them Contact Us | CoralVue . @Carlos Eldritch is having trouble submitting a support ticket for an issue getting the wifi power strips reconnected after renaming the wifi channel.

Danny I Appreciate all your help. This thread is embarrassing I was thinking to myself when reading through someone who goes by the handle of dogfartz when I was first troubleshooting and thinking “wow man take it easy” and now I’m here looking the same.

Is a stressful situation though, as I couldn’t get my eheims to turn off trying to just use the thermostats, I wonder if the controllers constantly just powering them on and off shortens the lifespan of the thermostat in the heater?

I don’t have much experience using these, but I know they’re supposed to have an out of water shutoff. I never calibrated the True Temps to the thermostats because I’m still learning from mistakes and thought I wouldn’t need to, as I’m using a fancy controller now. When my temp was creeping towards 80.5 last night I pulled one out of the water to see if it would shut off and it started steaming, I probably didn’t give it long enough out of water but I was worried it was going to crack or something seeing it steaming led me to believe the out of water isn’t working, but again that was only like 1 minute out of water and I don’t know if that’s truly long enough to trigger the thermostat.

Anyways, I’ve got my support ticket and will update this thread as long as I can do so without looking like a clown. Thanks again @Danny

We have all been there at times. It can get fustrating when things don't go as planned. As far as pulling out heaters when they are plugged in I would not do that. If you need to stop one for some reason unplug it and wait for it to cool first. That type of shut off is for an emergency only and not sure how the heater would take it long term. I use the Hydros to control the heaters but I do have the heater temp set 3 degress higher than the Hydros as a backup. I always have a backup for heaters just in case. To check them you can always set them in a bucket of water and set the thermostat on the heater and then run them to see where the water temp ends up in the bucket.

Is there like a one response per day quota to these support tickets? Only suggestion was to replace the Wi-Fi strip, which when I opened the ticket I provided a link to this thread. Where I’ve already received that suggestion as well as reported it didn’t work. I responded with a bunch of information and YouTube link of what happens after replacing. I had my reply in within an hour or so of Carlos’ response and I haven’t heard back, and vid has no views.

I even tried a magnet reset today and it ended up doing same thing.

What I am wondering is, is there any way my old Wi-Fi settings are being used again somehow? I wasn’t able to start from complete scratch within the hydros app, like it saved all my inputs/outputs think if I remember right.

If anyone else has any tips they’d be appreciated. Think I can get a better temp set up tonight to hold me over so i should be able to maintain my chi a bit better

I could not view the link with the video when I tried on the first one you posted, I would not use the magnet to reset. That will only affect the controller and not anything with the wifi strips. Do you just have the one strip?

Weird. I can see the video is posted what browser are you using? I can watch without even leaving the thread it’s a YouTube link not iCloud like first…

Yes. Just one strip.

I tried magnet cuz I don’t know what else to do here. Not getting any suggestions other than what I’m posting a video of not working

Edit: I was referring to this same YouTube link I posted l, I wasn’t saying no one watched the iCloud link.

You were programming quickly after you did the pairing. I usually let it sit several minutes after the pair is complete before I try doing anything with the wifi strip. If you use replace it should replace what you had already programmed in without reprogramming. But I guess since you did a reset all the settings were erased. Try plugging in the wifi strip within a few feet of your router and see if it starts responding.

@Eldritch Blast

I see that you are working with Connor on the support portal. You are in great hands. He will get you back up and running and ensure that the replacement part works correctly.
