Hi,
I want to create an output that activates when Ph is above 7.5 AND shuts off when Ph hits 8.4 AND only activates when the float switch is Dry. I'm confused by the option "Active When Input 1" is set to pH low. Does that mean the output activates at the pH low point I specified AND automatically closes at the pH High Point?

If it is like the heater it will turn on when the ph goes below the low point and will stay on until it reach the high point. Then it will stay off until it goes below the low point. If you have enough pH swing during the day you can test it before using the output by setting the ph point where it will go below the low point and above the high point in a 24 hour period. Then check the output log to see when the output was on and off and compare to the pH graph. Just don't use the output to control anything until you are sure it is reacting the way you want it to.

Thanks. Got it. I also meant to ask if when you have 2 inputs (here pH and float low) the output will activate when BOTH or EITHER is true? I'm assuming both.

it depends on whether it is set for AND or OR. With AND they both have to be true. With OR if either are true.
