Hi, I am new to Hydros and pH sensors, bit I have a collective including an X3 with a pinpoint probe. I calibrated with pH 7 and 10, about a week ago (new tank), and am generally getting good results.

That said, once every 12 hours or so, I get the following alarm:

“pH Main: Value 7.16 pH out of safe range (943cc6010620)”

Should I worry or just set my low alarm cutoff to 7?

I would check your logs to see if there is something that turns on or off at that time. Is the probe near any pumps are devices? Also is the probe cable near any power carrying cables?

Thanks, I’ll check on this if it continues. I contacted support and they logged in and tweaked something. I’ll let you know if it helped.

Tech support seems to have come through. I was getting the error exactly 8 hours apart, emails at 7:48am, and 3:48 and 11:48 pm. Didn’t correspond to anything I programmed. I had to re-calibrate the pH probe, got error message that night but not since.

I also was getting a third party wifi strip dropping out pretty regularly, which also didn’t seem to harm anything. Whatever was done solved that issue, too.
