I got a new PH probe but the website description was hard to understand but the PH probe has a built in Temperature probe. The Temperature probe has two pins connected to number 3 and 4. How would I got about re pinning this to a sense port plug? How do I know which type of wire corresponds with the sense pins? I would greatly appreciate any help as I got a good deal on the probes and could buy more in the future.

The Hydros temp sensor has a microchip in it and is digital so not sure that even if you figured out how to connect that it would work on a sense port since it would be trying to communicate with a microchip digitally if you select temp sensor.

How would I figure out if the probe has a compatible chip inside? Would you know off the top of your head how many pins the temp probe uses on the connector?

Most temp sensors do not have a microchip in them. The temp sensor uses the ground pin, +5v pin and the digital communication pin. The other is a analog input but the Hydros temp sensor does not use that one. There is a pinout of all the ports here in the DIY section.

What are the specs on your pH probe? Is the temp output 4-20mA? You may be able to get a conditioning board off Amazon to convert thar 4-20mA to 0-10V.. Unsure you will have any luck on the DIY sense path. Haven't seen anything other than float switch and flow sensor DIY sense projects. Not saying it won't work. We just need to know the specific function rather than pin 3 and 4 to even begin to think about options.

It will not work. HYDROS temperature ports require a specific digital sensor chip and pinout, and most combo pH probes use a different temperature method. You cannot repin it to a sense port unless it exactly matches the HYDROS protocol. Use an official CoralVue temperature probe instead.
