Point Leak Sensor vs Rope

Is one better than the other? Are there applications where it's better to use a point sensor instead of a rope, or vise versa? Thanks.

Rope leak is going to give you the best coverage and is super sensative. Works well unless placed in an area subject to significant dust, dirt or debris. And when activated it takes a little bit longer to dry out. Not significant but not seconds like wiping the point leak with a paper towel.

The rope.leak sensor will definitely give you a greater coverage area. And you can form it to whatever shape you need applying just a couple seconds of heat gun.
