I have two power strips for my x4. One connects no problem. The other will not connect. I bought a third thinking there was a problem with that strip. The third won’t connect either. Any suggestions??

Do you have a WiFi mesh? Are you using something like Google or Orbi? Does your WiFi use the same SSID for both 2.4 and 5GHz bands?

No mesh. Router is split. Using the 2.4 band. Doesn’t make sense because the x4 and one strip communicate fine.

When installing the WiFi strip, keep in mind that WiFi CANNOT travel through water. Therefore, if you draw a straight line between your WiFi strip and your router, there SHOULD NOT be any body of water directly in the path. If there is, WiFi will not get through the water, creating a dead spot behind the body of water.

No water barrier, but the router is a couple rooms away. I’m thinking about a mesh extension.
Not to jump in here , but if you're thinking of extending your WIFI ... please check this out. We have some awesome recommendations that will be sure to help!

I ususally do the paring with the wifi strip just a few feet from the router. Make sure the device you use for paring is also on the same network. After it pairs successfully I will wait several minutes before unplugging it and moving it where I want it.
