Maybe my question is a dumb one, but I'm hoping someone can tell me if there is a difference between the HYDROS Magnet Mount Temperature Sensor and the HYDROS Slim Temperature Sensor? Is it simply a size difference, or is one "better" than the other? I come from the Apex world that only has a probe, hence my question. TIA!

I just setup mine today. I have both and I see no variation between the two. Only difference is mounting. I prefer the magnet.

I have a probe and a magnet sensor in all my systems (I’ve had multiple sensor issues with Inkbird in the past) and have been running them for almost 2 years with zero issues. The only time I’ve noticed the sensors are different is when they were. I’ve had pumps fail and sump temp dropped and set off an alarm and woke me up, probably saved some live. I can see a quality issue. I use the magnets in my display and probes in the sumps.

Thank you, all! I think what I'll end up doing is putting the included probe from the Launch into the sump area, and then buying the magnet sensor into the display for extra redundancy.
