Salinity Probe

I’m just curious if hydros is going to come out with a smaller controller that will include a salinity port. I know the launch and the x10 have it, but if you don’t have either than you are out of luck. My personal opinion should be that it should come on the maven.
Anyone else feel they should come out with something smaller, like the x2.

Thank you for your feedback. We are always open to and listening to our customers. At this time, you are correct that the options are limited to the Hydros Launch and Hydros x10 concerning salinity. If the community as a whole is interested in such a device, we may develop something in the future.

An XS with Salinity, or including it in the Maven. Although I imagine that if they had space in the Maven to add it, they would have.

I may end up just buying the launch and selling my XS or something.

The XS has sense ports. I seem to use those more than any of the other ports. If it was me I would keep the XS and just add the Launch and create a collective with the XS and Launch. You would need a command bus cable and a couple of terminators to do that. You would also need to remove the XS power supply. Also create the collective in the app when you have the XS accessed so it is the first controller in the collective and it settings will become the settings of the collective. Then add the Launch. You can change the input or output port settings on any input and outputs you have setup if you want to change it for any particular input or output. The Launch and X10 are the only controllers with a salinity input port.
