salinity probe

as i make the jump from apex to hydros i was wondering is there a connector that i can use with my apex salinity probe to connect to the launch as i see the hydros and apex probe are totaly different dont know anything with these connections or do i have to purchase the hydros probe trying to save some $$ for future add ons

The Hydros uses probes with a BNC connector and it is best to get a K 10 type probe to use with it.Also the Hydros probe kit comes with two bottles of the 28ppt and 35ppt calibration solutions. I think the Apex may have a temp sensor within the salinity probe but with the Hydros you can set the tank temp sensor for temp compensation in the salinity input. I also thing the Apex probe is a K 1 type probe.

I don't know for sure but it is doubtful it will work or that you can find an adapter cable.
