Sense no power

I am not sure if it's possible but have an adapter with line input of some sort and no power to that adapter controller goes into low power mode and switches either to battery and/or UPS. My understanding as it is configured now Hydros will not work with UPS or am I wrong? I know has a way to use battery. I hate to mention other controllers but GHL does it that way by using adapter wit line input no power to that adapter goes into low power mode. When power comes on it delays system for 10 minutes before switching.
