I just got the adapter and connected to the WE. I programmed output 3. I can't get the pump to turn on. Any idea what I may be doing wrong?

You are using 0-10V output three and not direct drive output 3.

Direct Drive ports can only be assigned in the Output Type of Flow Pump only. Switch the pump type and you will be able to select type Varios 2 or 4. You will also have to now make a schedule as well to turn on that pump, but you can easily make a schedule that runs 24/7.

Instructions on how to add a "Drive Port" pump to the WaveEngine:

Instructions on how to create a "Flow Schedule," which, in your case, would need to be "Constant" and run 24/7:

Now that I've got it set up I see that you can't tie it to a schedule or set active modes. To be able to use one of those would I just have to continue to use the RO controller and connect it to a 0-10v cable? I do have one of those too.

I am not following what you are trying to do. Can you please elaborate?

Sorry, I see I didn't mention feed mode in the previous post. I want to set the return pump so that it shuts off in feed mode.
Ensure that the "Flow Schedule" is NOT active during Feed Mode. That is all you need to do.

Got that set. I must have something else not set right.

I've got to set it to MAX to get the pump to turn on. If I set it to AUTO it won't run.

By setting it to MAX, you have "manually" told the controller to run the pump to max speed. If you want the controller to "control" the output, you need to set it to "AUTO."
