I’m new control 4 user this weekend!! I got most figured out. I have not been able to get this though. I have a single WiFi plug that I want to plug my tuze ato into. I also have a water level sensor that I want to put low in Reservoir to turn plug off when it sensors no water. I can’t seem to figure it out. I have one sense port left for it.

For now you will have to setup an output that follows the water sensor then use the output with the output you want to control.

Here are some screenshots from my setup using this. The first one is the setup for the low level sensor. The second is for the output that follows the sensor. The third is my ATO output. Notice that in the second one there is no actual output assigned. The output still works logically as far as the controller is concerned.I use a dosing pump for the ATO so my minimum on time and maximum on time and minimum times are geared for it. If you have a different pump then your times will be different.

Ok thanks. I will need mine a little different. My tunze has an automatic fill when sump get low. It just doesn’t have any information on fresh water level. I want to have a hydros plug be normally one and shit plug off when water sensor goes dry

So you want something like this for the third screenshot. This a constant on outlet I already had setup. I just changed the Depends On settings to get the screenshot. That the reason for the strange name of the output.

Thank you Danny! I will try this in a hour or so. I will probably have questions lol.

yup just like I suspected. Didn’t work. Here is my pages

The sense port recognizes when dry just doesn’t shut plug off. Maybe not possible idk

That should work. Can you post screenshots of the input, the output to follow the input and you drive output. I will check it out.

SorryI didn't the previous post. You cannot use the input directly like you are trying to do. You will need to use output to follow the input and then use the constant on type and not the ATO type. Then use depends on with the output that follows the input to turn off the output. The input is ok the way it is.

not sure what you are asking to see. I thought that was what I screenshot? Lol. I am so glad I waited to get this “easy “ one and not an apex or ghl I would have thrown it sweat by now.

Set up and output like the one below. I named it DI low but you can choose another name. Use the Generic type. Set input count to 1. I think that is the default. Set input 1 to Fresh Water. Set Active When Input 1 to Dry. Don't select an Output Device. Save it like that. Now change you ATO output to Type Constant. The Set the Depends On this output to the output you just created.

Sorry I didn't see you post with the screenshots until I posted.

The input in the ATO type is for the sensor in the sump to turn on the output when it is dry.

No worry, I am hear to help. Did you create an output with the settings like I posted? If so check and see if it comes on on the app when your sensor is dry and goes off if it is wet.

It is actually in my ato tank. When it is dry I want to turn off plug. The ato pump takes care of its self.

Danny you are the man. I just got it right. Thanks so much.

The ATO type is for a pump like what comes in the Hydros ATO kit and not a ATO like the one you have. That is why it will not work for you ATO system. Sounds good that you have it working now. Are you manually refilling you ATO water tank?

Yes I’m not that advanced yet. My tank is 8 months old and been struggling hard with this dry rock. I really think the industry needs to come up with an effective starter bacteria more so than dr Tim’s or brightwell. Whole those help there is just no substitute for live rock. IMHO
