Hello,
I setup a new tank a month ago from a while being out. I had an Apex A3for 3weeks and just couldnt get into it after having a Hydros on my last 2 tanks. Plus its an UGLY device and the interface is just as ugly.
I returned it and picked up the XP3/XP8 package.
Now I got everything going fine but I cant figure out how to delay the skimmer to turn on after doing a feeding/waterchange mode so it lets the water drop and not overflow the skimmer. Is this possible?

If you are also turning off your return then set the skimmer depends on to the return pump and set the dependency mode to off if off. Then also set enable advanced settings to on and set the minimum off time the the delay you want on the skimmer output after the return pump turns back on.

That is how mine has been setup. The off time counter does not start the countdown when it is force off using a depends on until the depends on has been released. Otherwise the countdown starts when the output actually turns off. So if it turns off for any other reason it will not come back on until it has been off for the minimum off time you have set.
