My Sole does not always take the downloads, sometimes takes several tries to get it to work. It has done this ever since I got it, which was the first Hydros product that I got. I don't have the same issue with any other controller and there are two that are within several inched of the Sole. Do any of you have some suggestions on what the issue could be or are any of you experiencing the same thing. I asked this question of the support team yesterday. I was told this is not a systemic problem and should try move the unit. Kind of strange as it is the only one with this issue.

Do you happen to notice the color of the wifi symbol on the control or adjacent to the control name in the app? Pink, red, orange or yellow would indicate some sort of network fault condition. Green would be good network and cloud connectivity. Each control communicates directly to the cloud and wifi must be green to query and obtain the download. It could also be the Sole has problems writing to the SD card where the configuration is backed up. Network is easy to diagnose and fix. Other potential issues may be a bit more involved requiring a case with CoralVue Support Portal.

The controller is green (has connectivity) app icon showing red. I am now getting a banner message saying there is a configuration mismatch which is probably unrelated. How do I figure out where that issue comes from?

If the wifi icon is red on the Sole then you can reboot it using device properties in the right menu. Once that icon is green you can do a upload changes from the right menu to fix the configuration mismatch. The Sole probably did not download the settings change and that caused the configuration mismatch since that means not all controllers have the same configuration loaded.

@IvanW This ^^^^^. The condiguration mismatch is 100% related to the wifi connectivity. Each control holds its own copy of the config and the Sole is behind one or more config versions. Resolve the wifi connectivity, upload configuration and the mismatch will go away.
