I have a gravity feed ATO system and need a safety solenoid. So if my 1/4" RO/DI tube leaks, and my leak detector detects it, I want to be able to shut off the tube. I would use the Hydros solenoid but don't have a free drive port. Is there a third-party solenoid setup I could use in conjunction with my Hydros collective?

You can power them with a 12v power pack, but I am not sure they would be good for continuous on use though.

The one I had that I was leaving on was not a Hydros but it did fail eventually. Now I have it on a output that comes on once every hour for 10 minutes of if there is a demand for DI for either refill of my DI storage or the mix tank.

You can always get a "Normally Open" solenoid and connect it to a HYDROS WiFi outlet. That way, it would only turn on to close when something happens.
