Has anyone ever split a drive cable to power more than one item? I am looking at automating a pre-resin flush for my RODI unit and I would love to add a normally closed and normally open solenoid I already have to the Hydros RODI solenoid I already have and have it power the non-Hydros solenoids but I wasn't sure if that would overload the port?

I know the solenoids barely take up any power so I am confident powering the two extra solenoids would be well under the maximum 1.5A-2.5A rating of a drive port.

I just turned on the flush solenoid and it had a max of 572 ma and 6.8W.

My other thought was running the two non-Hydros solenoids off an OONOS and making them only turn on for say a minute after the mixing station low sensor gets dry that triggers the RODI feed solenoid to open and the RO flush solenoid to open to flush the membranes.

Which drive ports have a 1.5a-2.5a rating per port. The X4 and X2 it think are just 1a per port or a max of 1.5a between the 2. It will depend on the controller what the maximum per port and total is.

That's good to know. More than likely it would be the Launch. I had also thought of splitting a Hydros RODI solenoid into a normal AC outlet 12V power supply with the two other solenoids tied in as well.
