Does anyone have experience connecting a TDS probe like this, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B086GX2539/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_1?smid=A2EH5PO307BR7O&psc=1, to a sense port, or 0-10v input, on a X4 controller? I have the X4 to monitor/control a fresh water planted aquarium and would use the input from a TDS probe to decide if I needed to skip a fertilizer dose, and let me know if a water change was needed. It appears the probe outputs an analog signal in volts and not as a TDS number. Thanks.

I bought one of these but never had a chance to hook it up. Someone else told me that they aren't accurate so I never pursued it any further.

I've heard that. There are several out there and they sound as if they might be the same. Were you going to attach the probe to a sense port or 0-10V input port? I'm going to futz with it, it's $15 or so, calibrate it and see what I come up with. Always looking for a DIY project excuse.

I don't think you can use a sense port since it would have to have a analog TDS meter setup. I think the TDS meter that the Hydros uses on the sense port is a digital signal.
