Two hydros dosers on one drive port?

Can I run 2 dosers off 1 drive port. I am purchasing x2 and would like to use other port for auto top off pump.
Do I need a link cable or power adapter.
I also have the wifi power switch I could utilize, or do I need to buy 2 x2s

Technically you could cascade four dosers off the same drive port but then you can't control them independently. They would appear in Hydros as a single output and all pumps would start/stop at the same time and dose somewhat close to equal volume each. Can't be assured exactly equal since the output can only be calibrated to one and there may be subtle differences between pumps. Plus you often don't want to dose multiple elements at the same time.

You could get the optional Hydros dosing pump power supply Broken Tank | CoralVue and run off a wifi strip but I would use caution. IF you lost wifi connectivity to the wifi strip while the pump(s) were on, they would remain on for the duration of the outage.

Your safest action is powering individually via Drive ports or XP8.
