Tried recalibrating both ph and conductivity probe. Recalibrated the reagent doser head. Using 4 to 1 for the concentrate. 3000ml of RODI to 750ml of concentrate.
i was getting error 1 but now its a constant 2 for the past week.. any idea?

When the alkalinity test starts is the magnetic stirrer spinning? That will cause the issue in your heading since the reagent will not mix in the water sample.

Yea the pill spins. Had that issue early on. It was running great but the last month has been giving errors. Constant error 2. Hmmm. No air in the lines either. I switched the dosing line and re primed. There was some black debri buidling up in it. Originally there was a tiny air bubble where the hose meets the plastic tube. I managed to work that out.

That error is because the pH does not drop to the point where the sample can be tested. Either the alkalinity is way out of range, not enough reagent is getting dispensed or it is not strong enough. Have you tested the reagent. There is a method to do that with the right alkalinity test kit. The procedure is posted in the Hydros forum. That would be the only likely thing I could think of.

I haven't done that but ill check it out. Thanks!!

I’ve had time periods where my X10 will just all of a sudden start testing very high, 2-3dkh out of nowhere for no obvious reason. And I also just came off of an incredibly low testing period, like 3dkh low. Never figured it out and yes I triple checked calibration on my probe, heads, and reagent. I recently had to re- program my collective that was deleted and by doing so my alk testing matches dead on to my Hannah. So, don’t go crazy if everything calibrates and seems ok, because I did that and still got inaccurate readings.

Damn ok. I need to move everything and reorganize. So it might be a good time to go through the whole setup again. First thing first is to check the reagent

im having same error. i thought it might be reagent, so i bought another bottle of reagent. tried that last night. still same error. this is so frustrating, i feel like i bought a $1200 paperweight. i ordered a salifert test, should be here today or tomorrow. but what are the chances 2 bottles are bad.....the ph probe seems to give correct ph readings, its reading in morning at 8.2 and 8.3 in day, which is right. i recalibrated lines and checked for air bubbles. i looked for the pill to spin. it does spin, but really, really, slow. im not sure what speed its supposed to spin at.....

just wanted to say i wish someone told me earlier, because that was my issue. i had to take the screws out of bottom, the motor wasnt sitting flat at bottom. i pushed it down and now it works great.

That could have happened during shipping. I have one of the older iV's and it is still going.
