I know this may be a stretch but I’m a hydros guy… but my suggestion if possible that we could get an xp8 with more more plugs maybe and xp12 or xp16 😂😂😂 and 36v port on the kraken would be nice for us people with big tank dreams but only two sockets…..

Just get another XP8 or if you don't need power monitoring you can get a Start or Launch which have 4 AC outlets each.

Well it want be enough… only if the kraken could be plugged into the xp8 then it would good, I think you guys told me that kraken needs it on plugs

It is best for the Kraken to get it own AC. I use a power strip to connect the Kraken to an AC outlet. It is even on a different wall outlet than the XP8. The XP8 is on the other side of the tank from the Kraken anyway on my setup.

Woah 😳 😂… just me asking I had power strips before graduating to hydros… I am scared to add an power strip to that circuit as the the kraken and xp8 are plugged there… and there is no more connections around which kind of sucks..but that’s the reason why I was suggesting maybe a upgraded kraken with 36v or even an xp8 with more plugs.. this hobby keeps growing with more things to add 😂😂😂😂

I do this as well, and confirm the two outlets are on different breakers. Just to be safe. But I also have a large marine battery on my Kraken. Florida hurricanes are no joke.
