All of the above. I see other people having problems with the firmware update. I just set it up and am also trying to upload inputs and outputs. Just want the topoff to work -- so far no luck. I got this message: Exception in BT process request. Platform exception (locate Characteristic, service could not be located on the device, null, null)

I am on version 165, it wants to upgrade to 180 but won't even download. The download button is blue, it says ready but it does nothing when I try to download.

What is the color of the LEDs on the control unit?

RED = Controller cannot connect to WiFi at all. Probably wrong password
YELLOW = Controller connects to WiFi but cannot get an internet connection. Restarting the router helps in this case.
BLUE = Controller is happy. When the control is blue, you can access the status screen, upload changes, and upgrade firmware.
