Varios 2 Direct Connect not working

Setting up a collective of Control 4, XP8 and WaveEngine to test out the components (tank is not ready yet). When I try to create an output definition for the Varios 2 return pump, the direct drive ports of the WE are not available to select. I can use the Flow Pump definition but the pump error's out and there's nothing in the logs.
I connects a IceCap 4k gyre and that works fine.... Any suggestions ?

All DC type pumps controlled by the Wave Engine are considered flow pumps. Return pump is for an AC type pump only. You can change the icon on the output to the return pump icon once you have it setup.

Did you select the right pump under pump model?
If so I see this once in a while where a pump will error out and usual causes have been:
Most of the time it is the pump is not turning right or is dirty so it is not getting up to speed. I would pull the magnet/impeller and make sure it is turning free.
One time this happened on a Octopulse it was a bad cable.

I see you can not select the direct dive ports on the Wave Engine though.
Usually select Flow pump, then the model of your pump (Varios 2) and then output device should be whatever drive port it is connected to on the WE.

Yes I did use the Flow Pump definition since it was the only way to get varios2 and I got the error without any hints in the log. I deleted the pump, checked all cables and re-added and now works fine ?? maybe it was a loose cable ... Thanks for your help.
