I need to have my return pumps do an extended soft start ramp, both when I initiate a start and when the power is restored. My drain system is complex and there is significant water inertia to accelerate in my line going to the sump room (50' away). When I turn the pumps on it will raise tank / overflow box level beyond steady state levels to begin to accelerate the flow. This takes time and the level in tank raises until the sump levels drops below pump inlets. This behavior is a safe guard to prevent tank overflow, yet is not appropriate for normal operations. Has anyone done this with the Hydros???
