WaveEngine - 12v low power battery w/ 24v pumps

I have a WaveEngine directly powering two Varios4 pumps, which run on 24v. I also have a large 12v LiFePO4 battery that I'd like to use as a battery backup. I did not originally understand that my pumps would not work (well) on 12v battery power (mislead/misread based on IceCap Battery3 marketing material & Wave Engine how-to guides). Anyways, I get that now but would still like to get this to work better.

Does anyone have suggestions other than replacing my battery? There are some fairly cheap high-power step-up converters that could convert 12v to a higher voltage (seeing 15v, 19v, and 24v options) at the cost of some efficiency. Is there some other way to do this? Thanks!

If those are return pumps I am not sure why you want to run them without power running on a battery. That said 12v is how the Wave Engine knows there is a power outage. There are pumps that do run on 12v as well as 24v. Most are wave pumps of some kind though. Those would be the pumps I would want to keep running at a lower speed. On my tank the only thing that runs are my MP10's all other pumps are off during a power outage.
